Money Advice Caseworker (Temporary until 31 March 2018)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Money Advice Caseworker to play a key role in maintaining our ability to provide wide ranging and professional money advice. The focus of the post is to provide a flexible money advice casework service to clients across the district. You will carry a full caseload which will develop from initial contact covering all aspects of debt advice including the completion and submission of Debt Relief Orders, Bankruptcy applications and priority cases to include repossessions, Magistrates Fines, and Charging Orders etc. You will have excellent communication skills with an ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
This is a forward thinking, energetic role with lots of face to face interactions that would suit someone with enthusiasm and passion for supporting people to get the right advice for them. This vacancy is ideal for someone who believes clients have a right to expect high standards and would like to work at the cutting edge of change in the Citizens Advice network.
As an employer we offer flexible working (subject to approval), have an enhanced holiday entitlement, and subject to successful completion of a probation period, enhanced sick pay. We provide support, coaching and mentoring, and also wish to encourage staff to have autonomy in their work.
Hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £23,398 pro rata (plus auto-enrolment into a workplace pension scheme)
Base: To be confirmed but will require travel across the Cheshire West & Chester district
