Working in Partnership ...

We have a commitment to and focus on working in partnership to ensure that there is blanket coverage of quality advice and help across the region.  Thanks to funding from the Big Lottery, Cheshire West CAB has teamed up with Shelter and Age Concern to form Cheshire West Advice Partnership.

There is evidence that when services do not collaborate, clients can feel pushed from pillar to post creating what is known as "referral fatigue".   Very often those in greatest need fall through the gaps.  The Partnership will combat this by working with many community organisations to establish co-ordinated delivery of advice and help.  The focus will be on enabling people from areas of high social deprivation in Cheshire West to access good quality advice more easily.  The rights of many of our poorest households will be protected and social inclusion will be promoted.
